You will spend eternity in one of two places:
Heaven or the Lake of Fire. Your eternal destiny is based on one decision centered around one issue: What do you think about Jesus Christ? The Scriptures clearly state that Christ is the eternal Son of God who died on the Cross as your substitute for your sins. (Romans 5:8) God's free gift of eternal salvation is yours but only if you choose to accept it.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." (Acts 16:31a)
"He who believes in Him is not judged. He who does not believe has been judged already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:18)
"He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son [accept His grace gift of salvation] will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (John 3:36)
After salvation, you make the second most important decision, the one concerning your attitude to the Word of God. Unlike the salvation decision, which is only made once, you must make the decision to learn about God every day of your life. You must confess your sins to receive forgiveness and begin walking by the Holy Spirit. Only through the application of principles learned from the Word of God can you grow spiritually.
