God with us (Emmanuel) Of Messiah written
Jesus Christ eternal God, Over all transcending

2 Image of the unseen God, One with Him in essence
He, the Immortal Word became Mortal flesh yet sinless
Jesus came to bear our sins, Who had wrought creation
He alone could pay the debt For our great salvation
3 Worthy is the Lamb once slain From the world’s foundation
For He has redeemed mankind, Tribe and tongue and nation.
Every knee to Him shall bow, Every tongue confess Him;
Heav’n and earth shall sing His praise: Honor, glory, blessing.
